TREASURE IN EARTHLY VESSELS PT.1

INTRODUCTION

In our journey on earth, there are three vital components that equip us for maximum impact and fruitfulness. These essential elements are bestowed upon us through Jesus Christ. When we gave our lives to Christ, God's treasures are generously deposited within us.


THE THREE THINGS EVERY MAN NEEDS IN ORDER TO BE A PLUS IN LIFE

  1. Character: Moral excellence and steadfastness.
  2. Charisma: A unique magnetic charm or appeal.
  3. Capacity: The ability to produce, perform, or deploy; capability.

THE SOURCE OF THESE THREE ESSENTIALS IN A MAN’S LIFE. COL 1:27

These three essential qualities are rooted in:

  1. Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
  2. The Holy Spirit of God. John 16:7. When a person accepts and receives Jesus into their life, God's treasures are deposited within them. Upon receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit, they are empowered to activate and function in these treasures. (2 Peter 1:3, 2 Corinthians 4:7)


THE NINE FRUITS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. GAL 5:22-23

These nine fruits beautify our character:

  1. Love
  2. Joy
  3. Peace
  4. Patience
  5. Kindness
  6. Goodness
  7. Faithfulness
  8. Gentleness
  9. Self-control

These fruits of the Holy Spirit, actively working within a person's life, cultivate an excellent character. They represent God's treasures within a person.
