Bishop Kingsley Enakirerhi
Bishop Kingsley Enakirerhi was born in 1957. He has impacted positively on the lives of many. No doubt his life is totally dedicated to the finest cause in the world – the liberation of mankind in line with the divine mandate entrusted to him by God Almighty.
Born to the family of Mr. & Mrs. Johnny Enakirerhi in the Urhobo land of Ughelli, Delta State, Bishop Kingsley Enakirerhi had his primary and secondary school education in Delta state. He worked with Shell, a major oil exploring company in Nigeria before travelling to Lagos State in search of greener pastures from where God called him into the gospel ministry.
His conversion experience was dramatic but an interesting one, as he encountered Christ where he was smoking Indian hemp as a teenager through the preaching of a Police Inspector. Following this encounter God orchestrated some events that led him to the Assemblies of God Church in Agboju-Amuwo, Lagos where he fully surrendered his life to Jesus in January 1980.
Two years after, he heard the call of God which prompted him to resign from his secular work and proceeded to the Deeper Life Bible Institute (IBTC) in Ayobo, Lagos where he fasted for unbroken 9 months in full consecration and desire for God’s power and deeper knowledge of His word. And in the place of prayer God instructed him to return to his home town Ughelli and start His global work from his ‘Jerusalem’ with a clear and vivid mandate: “Go deliver My people from the hands of the Oppressor, and through the word of Faith raise me heroes of faith.”
Armed with this divine mandate, God’s obedient servant, without hesitation, left the mega city of Lagos for Ughelli where he established the Heroes of Faith Ministries International, which today is a success story. A magnificent structure housing the headquarters of the church and which is located in a large expanse of land aptly tagged ‘HEROES CITY’ is an architectural beauty to behold.
In the words of Bishop Kingsley Enakirerhi, “Wherever there are souls, we were willing to go; and that is why I came here, and I don’t regret my action.” What a profound statement from a man so zealous for God and passionate for souls!
Starting a fresh work is not an easy task but in no time the church has witnessed a meteoric rise and growth, with branch network spread across the country – in Port Harcourt, Lagos, Abuja, Warri, Yenogoa, Calabar etc, totaling over 30 branches.
Today in Ughelli, Bishop Enakirerhi is a titled holder of ‘Ogba Erhonvwo’ of the Kingdom (meaning the Mighty man of Prayer) conferred on him by the King (Ovie) of Ughelli Kingdom for his positive contribution to the community. His passion and burden for his people necessitated the establishment of an annual program titled, UGHELLI DAY OF PRAYER AND THANKSGIVING with active participation of the king and the people of Ughelli kingdom.
A man with so much passion, zeal and addiction to the Kingdom business, the hallmarks of his ministry service include hardwork, focus, discipline, consistency and integrity.
Bishop Enakirerhi has paid his dues in the ministry service with so much wealth of experience having served in Assemblies of God Church, Deeper Life Bible Church and Calvary Gospel Mission respectively. He was a prayer band member, a chorister, a Sunday School teacher, Sunday School Secretary, Pastor and Assistant General Overseer.
As a philanthropist per excellence who believes in holistic ministry as amplified in 3 John vs. 2 “I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in good health even as thy soul prospereth”, his benevolence outreach is legendary. Compassionate and ever ready to lend a helping hand to the less-privileged in the society, he has single-handedly sponsored over 150 students in secondary and tertiary institutions through scholarships. Annually he spends millions of Naira just to encourage other people’s vision.
Highly anointed by God, Bishop Kingsley Enakirerhi is an apostle, prophet, pastor, evangelist, teacher and preacher of the Word of God. He is an accomplished author of many books as well as Radio Evangelist.
A lovely husband of an amiable and highly anointed Rev Mrs Omome Enakirerhi, the great man of God is also blessed with five vivacious children – three females and two males. He is certainly a blessed and favoured man.
