WHAT IS PRAISE?

Praise is a cheerful and thankful way of expressing admiration, respect, or love towards God. It basically involves verbal or musical expressions, but can also include actions like dancing, clapping, or smiling. Through praise, we acknowledge God's greatness, lovingly celebrate who He is, and show appreciation for what He has done.


THE FACTS ABOUT PRAISE

  1. Praise is commanded by God – Ps.111:1-4, Ps.150:6
  2. Praise is an expression of our love and gratitude to God – Ps.106:1
  3. Praise is a sacrifice that glorifies God – Heb.13:15
  4. God inhabits the Praise of His children – Ps.22:3
  5. Praise is a spiritual weapon in the mouth of believers – 2 Chron. 20:21-24

Every believer must cultivate a lifestyle of praise. We should praise God in season and out of season. Psalm 119:164
